Has anyone heard of Anthom? It would be nice if the company put out some specifics of the health care plan that the company is going to use. I never heard of Mercer either! way to go Brito keep the cost down! Keep the employees unmotivated!Does anyone notice that our market share has fallen ever since Inbev took over AB.Hey Brito whats with the Peacock? You can only cut assets loose once. The only thing left is the cost of labor.Your marketing of the Bud and Bud light is pathetic. Why is our competition doing better and our core assets are not performing.
The reason I bring this up is the union workers here at Newburgh are doing our jobs and trying to do the best for our company. The company results for marketing and sales should be reflected in their pay, as the only way the company gets big jumps in profits is to tear itself apart and sell off pieces of its own body!If you keep cutting the legs off, the body will fall and all your left with is a body that cant move. The bubble you are creating will burst once your assets are gone and sales continue down because of lack of self investment and the companies reputation for cost cutting without regard for quality and dedication to its employees.
I am confident that this blog will grow from cans to bottles to beer to any other company that ABINBEV owns unless they break the trend that they have decided upon.
American workers are tired of being driven down by greed. I recommend that you Brito, get down to the common mans level as you say you do. Enough of cutting off everyday lives just to fill the greed void you have. Your bonus and the managements bonus is obscene. I dont care what other companies do nor do my brothers and sisters.
We want this company to be great again. It has to be done on something thats real. Something that will be supported by the very bottom, the common worker.Thats what builds an empire. People that believe in something and in someone.Your workforce around the company are at a crossroads. Which path do you want us to walk. Come walk it with us. We dare you!

  2. (9:51) Well said. There is only so much you can cut before there is nothing left. Yes, as you can see we are losing market share. Do you think former employees, there friends and family got mad at the way you handle business and switched to other brands of beer? Maybe you are trying to make too much money to fast. What is the rush? Maybe you will come to Newburgh to see our plant and talk to us about your plans and the future of MCC. Thank you..

  3. I hear that Yeungling and Boston brewing company are looking to expand into N.Y. in a major push. They both are true American companies. It wont be hard.I will gladly leave ABINBEV to work for an American company again! If either company advertises for employment, I will gladly bring my expertise and ask all my coworkers to go with me . Thats what kind of loyalty Brito has inspired.

  4. you guys/gals/whoever are soooooo foolish,

you actually think you have a say in what will happen because there is a union in place now. my god, you could not be much more naive. you will now get what the group wants, not what you want. at least before you were in control if you worked hard and got along with everyone.

can we please stop praising what IBEW 363 has done for us, nothing has changed yet.

all those union reps you guys keep thanking will be the same ones throwing you under the bus to get something for themselves, they are not putting the time in out the goodness of their hearts. its an investment that they believe will get THEMSELVES something better.

just look at who these people are and tell me i'm wrong. none of them have ever done anything for me. how about you?

finally, just remember to vote, pleeeeeeease. whether you're for the union or not it's always about what's in it for me and my family. all that nonsense about US and ONE is ridiculous, everyone is still in it for themselves.

now, that is the truth, like it or not

  5. To whom it may concern
    Or whomever you are 12:01am
You are so off base it’s not funny
Are you on drugs or what?
These people who represent us are doing it for everyone
I do not know what crew you are on but you must be f------ Crazy.
These people that give up their time and are not get paid for it.
They are doing it for YOU and everyone in this plant.
You need to wake up and smell the coffee.
You need to join the management side then and work against us.
The reason we are together is because we voted on it
You may not like it but it is what it is and you need to work with us
Only together can we be good for all of us including our families
If you do not want that than you need to just go along with the flow
It is here and it will stay so become IBEW #363 or not
We need to enlighten you on the benefits of being a union shop.
I would like to thank all the people that give up their time from their families
Those people that do not get paid for all their time
    Sincerely
    Your friend PASSION

  7. PREFACE: I'm sure many do not agree with you, you are entitled to your own opinion, as false as it may be.

Ahhh, the power of Sammie's blog. Sam has instituted a stroke of genius that may change how Unions are introduced to the workplace for years to come. Since the introduction of the Union in MCC Newburgh, there has been a change. How the Managers, whom I've always respected, talk to the employees. Prior to the Union, I was nothing more than an ant, to be stepped on at the Master's pleasure. Since the Union, I am now spoken to as a person. There was discussion of a new employee, with perhaps a tainted back-round, who was to be considered for a Superintendent position. We went through this with Warren's Fire Department buddy. Mr. Berta. Many people knew his back-round was much less than stellar, and the powers-that-be hired him anyway. Our latest Superintendent wanna-be was quickly placed back on his printer when the facts were published here. Look at our crossword-king-superintendent. Do you think all the readers of the blog were aware of how badly this Superintendent was stealing from the company? Now it's common knowledge. So without a contract, just the power of the written word there has been change. I assert your statements is false.

    2. We live in a democratic country, a great Republic. Majority rules. I feel that the majority of MCC employees, whether salaried of hourly, wants stability and a future. I joined MCC to work hard for an American company, earn a fair wage, and someday retire modestly in some comfort. With Carlos at the helm, without a Union, that is not going to happen. Carlos wants nothing more than to pad his already filled pockets. Investigate the bonus' he's awarded himself and his cronies since the buy-out if you doubt my veracity. In the past, our concerns at MCC were ignored, as we worked in a fiefdom work environ. The King decided, and we nodded obediently and took what was offered. I've worked hard, my attendance is beyond reproach, my work ethic and integrity are my cornerstone. I've seen no advancement, because I will not kiss any one's derriere to advance. In days past, unless you were a suck-up, your future was limited.

But this one has a thread of truth. The Union reps do want something. Absolutely! A CONTRACT! I know many of the Stewards, and Alternate Stewards. I know many of the Negotiators, and the Alternate Negotiators. They're not getting anything for the long hours they're putting in, but the hope to stop the slippery slope of In Bev's decline for the American worker. There's nothing better for the Union Reps to look forward to than making sure their Brothers and Sisters in the Union are represented FAIRLY with a CONTRACT!

Personally, the Union Reps have helped me at work to complete my job. Now they are spending their free time, at their expense, pouring over documents to insure my future. That is selflessness.

The vote is over, the Union is in, time for a reality check there buddy. There is a thread of truth in this. We are all in this for ourselves, our families and those we love. We ARE in it together. Together we are working towards a CONTRACT, to insure we are all have future. A future with fair compensation. A future with fair benefits. A future with fair retirement goals.

    FINALLY

The only way to attain those goals; stability, pay, benefits, retirement, with the present leadership, is with a Union and a CONTRACT!

P.S. Steve Gertsyl, I love you buddy, I'm sorry you're miffed you haven't been on the blog lately. This Union made BUD is for you!

"Now, that is the truth, like it or not"

  12. Dear 10/23. 12:01 AM,
Please return to reality. This reality, not the alternate one you are in now. Thank you. You may not see it but the union has alrady done something for you that you hadn't had before. Assess what you see around you, take a real good look instead of wallowing in your self imposed exile and self pity. Figure out for yourself what has changed. Reality what a concept!

  13. I would just like to thank all those people who have stepped up to be reps. I appreciate all the time and effort you are putting in on your own time for the good of all. Pay no attention to the nay sayers. Your hard work and dedication has not gone unnoticed, so keep on keepin on and we will have a contract

  14. Good Meeting today!

Nice to see you both Sam and Steve.

Good to see the MCC folks from both crews, it's not often we get to share some time together.

I thought this would just be a catch up meeting, but some really good points were put on the floor for consideration. It's amazing the knowledge and expertise of our co-workers that goes unnoticed.

Thanks too, Sam and Steve, for breakfast. I was hungry, didn't want to be late for such an important meeting, and stomach grumblin' came into the hall.

Thank you folks for all you do!

  18. was the meeting helpful to anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yes, the meeting was quite helpful. It cleared the air about a lot of questions. I think it was very productive and everyone came away satisfied with the effort and progress that has been made regarding our proposed contract. I think we are in a good position to deal with "THE COMPANY". Solidarity, a lot of questions and concerns were addressed. Hey 12:01; were you at the meeting?

  20. Another Shop Steward Weighs InOctober 25, 2010 at 10:04 PM

A most productive meeting. I hope we cleared the air about our position on answering questions about the contract and how it could reveal our bargaining position. And to answer the question "Am I in it to get myself something better?" Yes, I am. If I get myself something better , so do you. No one is getting thrown under the bus. Including the person who made that 10/23 AM blog entry. And when that person gets his ass in a sling with the company, it will be that same rep "who's in it for him/herself", "who never did anything for that sorry assed individual before" that will try to bail his/her sorry ass out. A little advice for that person: Don't burn your bridges behind you, you might have to run away when you bite off more than you can chew. A little mixed metaphor but I think you get my drift. And if you think that we are not up to the task of being your representatives...... Why didn't you step up to the plate and take a swing? You would have been able to stand on your soapbox and make your contribution to the contract that you, like it or not, will be a part of. Have a nice day.

Cue up some ZZ Top; I'm Nationwide. Well, fellow team members and 363 members. We can cancel the food drive. I don't think we'll be seeing "Ken the Negotiator" or his Ken and Barbie pink "Vette" this time around. So put all those high carb meals and desserts back in the pantry. So let's concentrate on our usual charities, "United Way", "Toys For tots" and our servicemen's needs. OK? Great meeting.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I was told last night at work that an entry was made on October 23, 12:01 am, reguarding the negotiating representatives and the shop stewards. So I read the comments and for what its worth I would like to respond.

When I was asked by some team members to be on the negotiating team I had to really think about it because it is a huge responsibility and a big commitment. I have been working on D crew for 15 years now and have made alot of close friends and respect everyone on our crew. I would not "throw anyone under the bus" as you put it. We have compiled a three page list from our crew alone about concerns that the team members would like to have addressed. I can tell you that these items are and will be talked about. Everyone at these meetings are putting the team members concerns first. I have seen alot of selfless hard work and research done by everyone involved. Instead of hiding behind the Anonymous label and insulting people, you should think about what you can do to contribute in a positive way.

    ReplyDelete
  23. AS another steward, I would also like to respond to the 10\23 12.01 posting. I would give you a hug also. But i'm afraid that you have your head so far buried in the sand that i couldn't even reach you if i dug a 10 foot hole.
If your so angry where you can't see any change at all anywhere around you then you should really consider going to an anger management seminar or seek council about your issues, seriously there are really clouding your JUDGEMENT !!!!!!!!!!
It just shows you how UNINVOLVED YOU ARE IN THE PROCESS OF YOUR FUTURE!!
IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF AS A FAMILY QUOTE:(GUY\GAL\WHOEVER --
TO MAKE COMMENTS ABOUT PEOPLE THAT ARE TRYING TO MAKE A BETTER FUTURE FOR YOU YOUR FAMILIES AND EVERYONE ELSE IS ABOUT AS LOW AS YOU CAN GET.
DO YOU KNOW WHATS IN IT FOR A REP.
LET ME TELL YOU (GUY\GAL WHOEVER....)
GETTING UP EARLY ON YOUR FIRST DAY OFF TO GO TO A 7 HOUR STRAIGHT MEETING (NO BREAKS) EITHER MIND YOU- NO COMPENSATION!!
HAVING PEOPLE COME UP TO YOU DURING YOUR BREAKS AT WORK WANTING TO BRING UP THERE ISSUES.
SOME OF THEM ARE A LITTLE OVER THE TOP I MIGHT ADD. BUT YOU STILL LISTEN TO EVERYONE. EVERYONE !!! - - NO COMPENSATION
IN THE NEAR FUTURE IT WILL BE GETTING PHONE CALLS ON YOUR DAYS OFF FOR ISSUES OR MEETINGS WITH MANAGERS,TEAM MEMBERS, ECT -NO COMPENSATION.
WE WILL GET TO SIT DOWN DURING THE MOST TEDIOUS OF CONTRACT MEETINGS WERE WE GET TO DO NOTHING BUT LISTEN TO THE CORPORATE PEOPLE THAT WANT TO GIVE US NOTHING CUT ALL OF OUR HARD WORK (CONTRACT) TO PIECE'S. NO - COMPENSATION
WE DO NOT GET PAID,OR ANY COMPENSATION WHATS SO EVER. SO I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHERE OR FROM WHO YOUR GETTING YOUR INFO FROM. BUT IT IS WAY OFF THE MARK.
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE STEWARDS THAT ARE REPRESENTING THE 363 NEWBURGH TEAM MEMBERS WILL GO TO BAT EQUALLY FOR EACH AND EVERYONE OF THE TEAM MEMBERS
IF YOU DON'T REALLY BELIEVE THAT THEN YOU SHOULD PROBABLY REALLY LOOK FOR ANOTHER FUTURE SOME WHERE ELSE BECAUSE BY THE SOUNDS OF YOUR WRITINGS AND WITH THE NEGATIVITY THAT SPEWS OUT OF IT, YOUR GOING TO HAVE A BLEAK FUTURE ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FOR THE LIFE OF ME I CAN'T SEEM TO FIGURE OUT HOW YOU HAD A VOICE BEFORE. THE ONLY WAY I KNOW OF ANYONE HAVING A VOICE BEFORE IS WHEN YOU ALWAYS AGREE WITH EVERYTHING ALL THE MANAGERS SAY.
I KNOW OF BEFORE IF YOU SPOKE UP AND IT WENT AGAINST THE GRAIN YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE SEGREGATED,CHASTISED,TALKED ABOUT AS BEING DISRUPTIVE\NEGATIVE ECT.

IF YOU REALLY HAD A VOICE WHY IS IT DURING MOST OF THE MEETINGS EVERYONE HAD THERE HEADS EITHER LOOKING AT THE FLOOR OR THE CEILING AND NOT SAYING A WORD. ??????????????????????????????
AND DON'T COME BACK AND SAY PEOPLE WERE TALKING BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW WHAT WAS BEING SAID IN MOST MEETINGS IS NOT WHAT WAS ON EVERYONE'S MIND!!!!!!!!!!
WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID I SPECIFICALLY AM NOT TRYING TO BERATE YOU IN ANY WAY, JUST TRYING TO GET YOU TO OPEN YOUR EYES AND HEART. STOP THE ANGER\NEGATIVITY ECT. THERE ARE ALOT, ALOT OF PEOPLE WORKING FOR YOURS AND YOUR FAMILIES FUTURE FOR ABSOLUTELY NO -- COMPENSATION.
WELL ONLY ONE COMPENSATION. AND THAT IS:::
KNOWING WE ALL PUT FORTH AS BEST AN EFFORT ON BEHALF OF ALL TEAM MEMBERS TO BETTER OUR FUTURE.
AND THAT IS WAY MORE THEN YOU ARE DOING.
LISTEN LETS MEET SOMEWHERE AND DR. PHIL WILL GIVE YOU A HUG AS WELL. BUT YOUR PROBABLY THE SAME PERSON THAT SPEWED THE NEGATIVITY LAST WEEK AS WELL.

THERE'S LOTS OF HUGS TO GO AROUND

I'M HOPING AND ASKING FOR YOU TO TRY- TRY TO OPEN YOUR MIND AND EYES. THERE'S ALOT OF GOOD GOING ON AROUND YOU AND YOUR NOT SEEING IT. OR CHOSE NOT TO SEE IT.

SO PLEASE GIVE IT A SHOT TRY TO BE ON THE POSITIVE SIDE AS WELL.

THIS WAS PAID FOR BY THE DR. PHIL COMMITTEE ON BETTERING YOUR FUTURE THROUGH HARD WORK AND DEDICATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE SHOW UP FOR THE NEXT OPEN MEETING THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF PEOPLE TO GIVE OUT -- FREE --
    HUGS.
    THANK YOU FOR READING

  26. Jax mcc is supporting all of you and hoping you get your contract. You have to be realistic though, its a constant battle with or without a contract,I have been on both sides.Your problems will not vanish, you will just have more options.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Wow! Dr.Phil;
That was longer than your TV show! And much better. But as we talked about last night there will always be someone who just isn't facing the fact that like it or not they are now part of a movement that is trying to improve and stabilize our work relationship with management. To try and retain what we have before it's gone, pension, health insurance, etc. It's not some game. I agree with Tony Scotto's response. I too am "one of those people" and have seen first hand the dedication and selflessness displayed by all the reps. The Professionalism displayed and need to include everyone's suggestions is amazing. And yes,I am in it for me, because if I can get something that's really worth the hours off my off time in meetings with other focused people trying to do what's right for everybody, that's great! And you know why? Because if I got it, you got it too! So, yes, 12:01, you are wrong. Instead of thinking you're going to be thrown under the bus, why don't you get on! As Dr.Phil has counseled, try and direct your negative feelings in a positive way.

    ReplyDelete
  28. This is the crunch time folks. The reps are in the meat of the contract and working hard to get whats fair. Now is the time to have your voices and concerns on the floor and heard. Are you concerned about your future in MCC? Are you concerned abouty your pay? Are you concerned about your benefits? Are you concerned about your retirement? Then its time to participate and go to meetings. Its your future, now is the time to supposrt your reps by your attendance. Lets stay strong, stay together, and work together to get what is right!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Reps good job! Thank you for listening to my ideas. I have a question though. Ive seen on the company website that they are going to a new health care insurance company, called Anthom. It said all of ABINBEV will use it. Does that mean we here at Newburgh too?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I WOULD ASSUME YES FOR NOW. UNTIL WE ARE GIVING MORE INFORMATION DURING THE BARGINING SESSIONS.

WE ALL KNOW OUR HEALTHCARE CHOICES ARE DWINDLING EACH YEAR WITH THE GOVERNMENT TAKING OVER SO MUCH OF THAT SECTOR AND THE FACT NOW THAT WERE A FOREIGN OWNED COMPANY OUR CHOICES MAY ONLY BE JUST THAT.
BUT AS OF RIGHT NOW YOU KNOW AS MUCH AS WE KNOW ABOUT OUR FUTURE CHOICES IN OUR HEALTH CARE.

  31. Hi 10/28, 9:51 am,
Anthem Blue Cross/ Blue shield is a reality. I received my "Total Rewards" package today. It is a company wide switch over. Aetna, Cigna and United Health Care are no longer offered. I went to the Anthem web site. Enter as a guest and use the PPO option. Check and look for your present doctors. I don't think we have much choice on this one. It's Anthem or nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I received my package today also why is it that Dave put more into the united way program than he does to his own team members don't get me wrong united way is a good program but he just put more effort into it than he ever did for us looking forward to the day we have a qualified HR person looking out for us 1-800-you-later dave

    ReplyDelete
  33. 8:37--Good point. I wonder why Dave did not mention anything to us about our new health coverage? Maybe he was on-line shopping for a new office chair.

    ReplyDelete
  34. With only 5 more shopping days left until you enroll for your healthcare benefits, you would think that the bastions of communication between management and the lowly hourly employees would have had a slick powerpoint presentation detailing the quite surprisingly sudden switch to Anthem health insurance! Actually, not that it would have mattered there is no longer a choice between different HMOs. Still, a little get together with the crews would have been nice, a little outline of what version of Anthem we are getting ( It's offered in Connecticutt as Anthem but not in NY, check out the website, Although my Drs are in their nationwide network.). I need a little more info than a company mailing telling me what my options are not. Perhaps an effort on the scale of the United Way drive should have been in order. This is a big change and not a peep, posting or any communique from management. What are the co-pays, is there a deductible? Are we getting screwed? What form of Anthem are we getting? Information, please!

  35. ANOTHER POSITIVE TURN OUT FOR THE 363 C & D CREW MEETING OF CONCERNS THAT ( ANY ) TEAM MEMBER MIGHT HAVE, TO ACTUALLY HAVE A SAY OR AN OPINION ON WHAT CONCERNS OR IDEAS ( ANYONE ) MIGHT HAVE CONCERNING THERE FUTURE IN THE CONTRACT NEG.

SOME VERY GOOD QUESTIONS WERE ASKED AND ANSWERED. IF IT WASN'T OR COULDN'T BE ANSWERED AT LEAST WE WERE TOLD WHY AND NO
( I'LL GET BACK TO YOU CRAP!!!! )

AS I LOOK UP AT THE OTHER POST'S I REALIZE HOW IT'S PRETTY SAD WELL ACTUALLY GOOD FOR US BUT SAD OVER ALL WHEN SAM COVERED MORE OF OUR HEALTH CARE PACKAGE THEN ALL OF THE M.C.C MANAGERS COMBINED!!!!!!!!!!! WOW !!
WE'VE KNOWN THE GUY ONLY A FEW MONTHS AND A LOT OF THE MANAGERS SOME FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS. SAM TALKED ABOUT IT AND OUR OWN MANAGERS DID NOT!!

HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THAT ONE AWAY. HOW OUR FRONT OFFICE MANAGEMENT PUSHED AND TALKED MORE ABOUT THE UNITED WAY THEN YOUR OWN HEALTH CARE NEEDS AND CONCERNS .
WELL YOU SHOULD KNOW BY NOW HOW YOU AS TEAM MEMBERS RATE ON THERE SCALE OF CONCERNS.
THEY'LL STILL BE A COUPLE OF YOU THAT WILL MAKE EXCUSE'S FOR THEM. BUT TO ME THAT IS ALSO A SAD REALIZATION.
PUTTING A HUGH TAX RIGHT OFF COMPANY (UNITED WAY) AHEAD OF THE TEAM MEMBERS, WELL NOT EVEN AHEAD OF. HOW ABOUT NOT EVEN PUTTING US ANY WHERE ON THERE LIST. NO DISCUSSIONS AT ALL!!!

I FEEL AS I HAVE FOR A LONG TIME AT M.C.C

    UNIMPORTANT/NON EXISTENT.

WELL THANK YOU AGAIN SAM. FOR AT LEAST TAKING TIME OUT OF A MEETING AND FINDING A HEALTH CARE PACKAGE AND AT LEAST LOOKING THROUGH IT.

IT'S A SHAME STILL. EVEN THOUGH IT SHOULDN'T SURPRISE ME ANY MORE I GUESS IT STILL DOES.

    UNITED WAY = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    TEAM MEMBERS = 0000000000000000000000000

    NICE EFFORT FRONT OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MORE AND MORE EACH DAY I THANK GOD I WAS SMART ENOUGH TO VOTE YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yes today was another great meeting. It is a shame that we have to try and find out about our health benefits because Dan and Dave are too busy fumbling around with the United way. Yes they are an important organization and we should give to them but maybe Dave and Dan should try to do their jobs and let us know something very important to us and our families and that is what type of health care we will have. Hopefully someday we will get a front office staff that helps us more than they hinder us, god imagine that. We are just days from our election choices at the plant and we are getting nothing from Dave Lehman as usual. Dave don't you think this is important and if you and Dan are just finding out about this than heaven help our lost people at corporate. Glad I do a better job in the plant than these people do or we would all be on the street looking for a job.
Once again thank you Sam and Steve for helping us try to make heads or tails of this. One of the best things that we all did is get our union in here because this is the only way we can fix some of the mess that we have now. We are getting close to our first contract so everyone stay together and be strong. Go local 363 I am a proud union worker that would never go back.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Very well said 3:51 & 5:22. I also thought it was a great meeting, good questions and answers. Sam as usual answered more questions to our needs than management. I am also very proud that I voted yes, more so than ever. I am also very proud of our reps who has been devoting their own time for US, thank you dosent seem to say enough to them and IBEW 363. I really feel sorry for the people who choose not to come to these meetings, they are missing out on so much that concerns their future. Thank you all for working so hard me (US)Stay strong

  38. I also would like to thank sam, steve and all of the 363 team members that have gotten us too this stage so far. most of us know what sacrifices your all making for all of us team members

it's nice to see more faces there as well. I know everyone has lots going on so it's nice to see different faces at each meeting.

  39. union member at largeOctober 29, 2010 at 11:28 PM

Way to go say no to management show! I agree with you. Well said on all points. Thank you to Sam for taking the time to answer all the questions that were put to him. He answered way before the company ever bothered to inform us.Immediately we had an answer. As soon as he found out he went to work for us and called Dave lehman and got an answer. Thats how it should work and it did work. Another example how the union has Our interests above all others. The company did not even tell us the information was coming. We are the union. we have to help each other. We need to make sure that we do not let the company take advantage of our lack of knowledge of labor laws. That is what the union is for. To make sure everyone plays by the rules. Great job to everyone who showed, and cared enough about their future to make sure their questions were asked and their voices heard. Go 363. Go Newburgh. We will all win!

  40. Well said "union member at large". If you want some info on your rights as an employee, union member or just as a worker you can go to nlrb.gov, look in the left hand column for , I think it says, "your rights". or something to that effect. Glad you guys had a great meeting and it is sad that our communication oriented management team has said squat about the health care switcheroo. We had to hear the skinny from our union business manager. Would someone remind me why we voted for union representation? Union dues? They will be well spent. Representation and results. Proud to be a member and proud to represent our team.

so enjoy the much needed down time lord knows we deserve it. GOD BLESS EVERYONE. AND GOD BLESS AMERICA.
    KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
