Negotiations Will Start Back Up On Tuesday APRIL 5

Our negotiations will resume on Tuesday April 5. We have been in contact with the company each week we have been off and have been working on getting a room to meet in at the hotel. We have a room now so we will start back up at 9:30am that day.

We hope to make some real good progress so that we can work toward the session after this one to take on some of the more complicated subjects - like health care coverage, pensions, wages etc.

We are starting to see the beginning of what the contract will look like when we are done. So far we have covered every subject that has been brought to the table in depth, we have agreed on quite a few and we still have work to do on a handful of issues.

Your reps are working hard for you and I give them so much credit for their dedication and committment to this process. Their work has been commendable.

Stay solid, stay strong

    Sam,
I am one of the people that represents everyone at Newburgh Mcc.I take what I do at work and at the table very seriously.
I want everyone to know that I as an individual have no interest in anything other than the success of our plant.I want all of us to prosper. However I am tired of hearing from the company how hard I have to work to make our place successful while our management staff ,what is left, sits in comfort on their asses telling us how We have to come up with the fix for a poor satisfaction survey that was recently reported to us.They have created all the feelings that the majority of the plant felt that , we as employees needed to bond together as one. The things that brought us together yesterday, still exist today. There has been no change,no promise of change,no proof of change other than the facts that since local 363 has represented us , we are protected, and have a voice in what we want our future to bring. Thank you for standing with us. I have faith in our union at Metal Container Newburgh. I am proud all the employees who support all of us and that they realize that in our era of struggle in the United States that we , together as one will be stronger and unmovable.People who do not support eachother and and are only interested in the items that are important to themselves are the root cause of why the entire country is in the mess that it is in. Greed.
I want you to know that I am ready to finish this journey we have undertaken. Ready to go the distance, ready to tap any resource, to take the stand, to commit my strength to make sure all of us secure our future and the companies. Thank you for walking this journey with me and all of us. Time to put up or shut up for everyone.

  3. I just want you guys to know that I am happy to be here with you and look forward to being together from now on. Together we can move forward and look out for each other.

Thank you to you all for your kind words and your support of the union, the IBEW, me, the guys and ladies who are at the table with me and MOST OF ALL - thanks for supporting yourselves.

Keep an open dialog with your reps if you have any issues or ideas. They will get them to me and to the table.

  4. After listening to Dan and Dave yesterday again I realize that these people are just playing stupid. I can't believe that they would sit there and tell us we have to meet our issues head on and make a difference. BOTTOM LINE MANAGEMENT......if you managed our facility the negativity wouldn't exist. Be real we are not stupid...haven't we proved that to you. Decision making...training....people issues....staffing....etc.....it's all on you bottom line.

  5. And I forgot one major factor.......THE VIRIS STILL INFECTS US.....do you agree WARREN?

    ReplyDelete
  6. They are clueless. They think that forming a commttee is the anwser to everything.During this great union run ,we told them over and over what was wrong. They are still unable to understand anything.Hopefully when the liar comes this week he knocks some sense into them . Better yet, Tony comes in and fires all their dumb assess, and has some kryptonite for everyones favorite superhero.GO 363 say strong!

This is the first I heard of this ... Tony's coming?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Yes I'm coming to try and light a fire under you children again. Monday I come in and Tuesday I spend the day with you to communicate and enlighten you with Passion as always.
Nothing you say can be taken seriously Tony. You bullshitted us long enough. Just tell us what to do and we'll do it, but remember you will get what you asked for. It's your plant and your move buddy. Make it good.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I hope he's coming to meet Sam and tell him that we are all getting a big fat raise and paying less for our health care because we are such assets to the company. He needs to do that. He needs to work with us and our union. then we will be one bighappy family again.

    ReplyDelete
  10. No more raises from the company. It's now part of the negotiation, remember? And you would be foolish to think it's going to be generous. This will be where the not so good part of it begins. Hang on tight brothers.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Put both hands on the steering wheel. Rough road ahead..

    ReplyDelete
  12. It's important to remember, and you all know this already, that nothing good comes from our management. In the last ten years can anyone think of any cases to refute this statement?

    ReplyDelete
  13. First big props to our negotiators and stewards for representing in fine style...you folks are defining the word 'dedicated' with your selfless efforts to bring a little justice and light to MCC Newburgh.

Second, to our remaining Non-Union plants- there is nothing to gain, and a whole lot to lose by sitting on your hands now. Don't believe it? Just ask your managers! In appreciation for their loyalty and dedication, they've gotten screwed.

Third, I really do believe that I heard the People Guy refer to InBev's 10 principles as "lofty". Check your moral compass, dude, I think it's broken!

InBev and it's exec's have consistently modeled only 4 'principles' and here they are for your edification...

    1. Increase Corporate profits, shareholder returns, and executive bonuses at all costs.
    2. Force employees to acccept decreased complensation and benefits.
    3. Reduce expenses, i.e. parts inventory, to a point where it negatively impacts operations.
    4. The slaves must continuously work harder so that those at the top may prosper ever more gloriously...

Do us a favor, please, and quit trying to sell the corporate line to us...you might regain some credibility and dignity that way...

    ReplyDelete
  14. Did non union plants get a raise this year? If not, then I think we have done what we needed to do. I think Arnold or Jacksonville got 1% in their contract. should we expect at least that. April is here and now we extending the increases again. It's a ploy, not slow negotiation.

    ReplyDelete
  15. had mentioned to some friends, about dunk the supervisor last year, and the silly march madness game this year....hey dan we are not 5 years old, i repeat we are nor 5 years old....GET IT.....if not, then how about getting all of us a coloring book, i would prefer the teenage mutant turtles

    ReplyDelete
  16. I think its time to give our brothers and sisters a call to let them know to watch us at the bargaining table. I think they are going to be very interested in how we are going to be treated in our contract. After all their contract isnt that far off is it.

    ReplyDelete
  17. The top people left in management here still dont have a clue on how to make cans. The people on the floor have taken control of the plant. If you doubt it Dan, Dave, Warren, Tony. Watch what happens if you piss us off again. Things are quiet right now and you havent been able to pull your bullshit because of the union protecting us. I suggest that you all learn something. Dont go back to what you were doing. Keep building on the positive and for Godsake stay off the floor. You guys are just not good managers. Its the cold hard truth. Its running so much better like this.

    ReplyDelete
  18. They're done. They don't have what we have so we need to be informed. Lets face it, all the other stuff can be tolerated if we are thick skinned adults. This is about getting better compensation and the rest is just a diversion. We all know that but want to build an emotional train for everybody to ride and feel like they got something. Now that its getting closer let's demand what we really want, mo money!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Well all I gotta say is, if the contract doesnt give the people what they are asking for, I dont think the company will get what they are asking for. Get my drift? If they try their counter productive ways again then they can count on another great steak out attitude. You still dont motivate by starving the masses.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thank you O wise prophet. Where does your crystal ball think we should be on the wage scale? Up about 3 or 4%? I think we are worthy and agree they shouldn't starve us again. Hey Bandito, enjoying another year of no increase? Bye bye pension. Hello medical increase. Bye bye excellence. Our reps will stand tall and deliver the gold. You will all wish you were in.

    ReplyDelete
  21. We have to fight for our right to paaarty....

    ReplyDelete
  22. love it. get behind the union and lets roll.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Now that we are running on Easter and maybe memorial and july 4th it sounds as if they really need cans. Wouldn't be a good time to let us down again. Maybe just maybe we are in the drivers seat. Go get them negotiators.

    ReplyDelete
  24. 4% or bust. Would make this worth the wait. We have the drivers seat now.

    ReplyDelete
  25. They really do need the cans but everyones favorite superhero is doing a fine job on his own.I can't wait to go back and run a 5 million or even less. He is certainly able to do that.Tony I hope on your little vist that you sit down and explain to boy wonder how thing work around here, because Clark can't figure it out.He doesn't understand why the guys on the front end can't go over and scrap. I guess he really is clueless.Speaking of clueless, maybe you also need to talk to Dumb and Dumber to find out how they can fix that 42% problem that they have .42% isn't that the percentage of no votes you got ,great job.GO 363 stay strong !

    ReplyDelete
  26. We got the tools, the knowledge, the drive! It's Miller Time!

  27. Crazy, isnt it, that Dan and Dave do not take action in reguards to superman. Im just concerned that he is hurting everyone and nobody in management is trying to stop it. What is it going to take? Massive problems at our customers?Im worried that might be too late. Well sooner or later it is going to bite this plant in the ass. Just another example of failure all the way up the chain of command.Including Tony.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I see where August Busch IV is leaving InBev board of directors in April. Apparently InBev has a " only one dead body allowed" rule for its board.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Why cant owens back off and let the workers that know the process and run the plant do there jobs. He should just sit in the office and do the paperwork..

    ReplyDelete
  30. Super man cant stay in the office, he has to continue saving the rich and screwing the poor. our super hero tamed the agvs into submission. He single handedly forced his will and programmed them unruly AGV's. They dont make mistakes and dont take brakes because superman will uses his super human intellect to fix the problems and keep them all scared and on the run.Dont worry he will change things with humans too.He is trying to do the things on the floor with humans like he did with the agvs. Use his super human intelligence to change the course of how we run.I say give the company what they want. Do exactly what he tells you to do. It will work out. It always does.

    ReplyDelete
  31. what survey? it doesnt matter to anyone on the floor.Nothing was done to fix the problems from the last survey. It means nothing anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  32. What did Tony have to say?

    ReplyDelete
  33. He said he is going to tweek our 401k a little so we match the rest of the industry.

    ReplyDelete
  34. 141% profit and they want to tweek the 401k? Hmmm...How about taking care of the people that take care of you Tony?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I Call Them As I See ThemMarch 29, 2011 at 9:20 PM

Tony said and I quote "ZZZZZZZZZZ business is declining ZZZZZZZ make specialty cans somewhere else, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ-net-net,ZZZZZZZZZZZZ isn't it exciting? ZZZZ. Did you notice the infomercial about the climate survey during a pre-shift? No quotable quotes this year, and WE are the reason for the LOW, low, low climate, not the management team. And the question was posed by Lt Dan: How can we fix this (hidden meaning:us). Well, let's see. In most team sports they usually fire the manager. AND his coaching staff. If it were the People's Republic of China? Execution for the manager and his closest advisor, (all 1-800 service has been blocked) and banishment to Inner Mongolia, working in a nuclear waste recovery facility. Just remember: If morale does not improve the Floggings will continue.

  36. I Call Them As I See ThemMarch 29, 2011 at 9:28 PM

Oh yeah and Tony did anyone notice that Mr. Bhallaloney did not comment on the 141% improvement to the Inbev coffers in the last quarter of 2010? He was singled out by Pete Kraemer in the webcast and was mysteriously absent, hmmmmmm.Like was previously stated in another post, we are optimisticly looking forward to another year of being a poor subsidiary of a global conglomerate gratefully taking whatever falls off the table in front of us.

    ReplyDelete
  37. So all that company caring and meetings before the vote was just bullshit. Glad I listened to Sam and not Tony.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hey 9:55 - Welcome aboard you finally realized the truth. Now if you could convince the other suck asses in our facility to stop their undermining that would ease some of the bullcrap.

    ReplyDelete
  39. AB/Inbev just buys another company for almost 40 million and now they take away from our 401k match. Thats Bullshit....Ill remember that..

  40. GUTLESS IN NEWBURGHMarch 30, 2011 at 5:59 PM

Tony Bhalla didn't have the courage himself to tell us about the 401k change in detail. He just laid out the rumor and Dan & Dave had to pass it on. Tony just fled the facility like a little kid he is. Lets be up front my ass Tony you turncoat. You want respect from your CHILDREN you must give it and set the Example. Isn't that one of those 10 principles or is it just a bucklist of bullshit. I'd say it's the bucket.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Tony is no Man....

    ReplyDelete
  42. Without negotiating the subject on the blog, I want all you guys to know that we are looking into some proposals in regard to the 401(k) plan that may improve things.

We are consulting with some people and are hoping to have our information for this weeks sessions.

The benefit of VOTING YES for IBEW Local 363 was to have a seat at the table and discuss all issues that concern or adversely affect you.

You need to support yourselves by supporting YOUR UNION - IBEW Local 363.

That time is here for each and every person at MCC Newburgh. If you're not with it, you are working against yourself and your co-workers and you are making a huge mistake.

How do you do that? Talk positively about it and show your support. Your co-workers are waiting for the "green Light".

Give it to them. There is NOTHING TO FEAR.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Tony couldnt face the music again. Whats next? How much more motivation can this company give? Im tired of being asked to do more for less. Its time to do less to get more. whatta ya think guys?

    ReplyDelete
  44. I heard that there is going to be a huge rally on the 4th at the corners of rt.17k and rt.300. anyone hear about that. I heard 4:30pm Is it true?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Todays news from the company just showed me more for Brito and less for me.Bottom line.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I bet management wished they could have someone stand up with them like the i.b.e.w.. They took it in the butt and then they had to smile and say thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Couple days notice for a reduction in benefits. Classy scumbags, classy. Tony, was it your idea to drop the news a couple of days before it takes effect just to laugh at us little people. have a good chuckle. your turn will come.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hey 8:28;YES THERE IS, IF YOU CAN ATTEND DO SO!! Support all the union workers out there who are in leopardy of losing the basic of negotiations: COLLECTIVE BARGAINING. For some reason the newly elected in several states have targeted their own employees as the reason that their state is in the RED. I suppose it couldn't be a combination of piss poor management and too many people on the dole, could it?
    Support these people!

    ReplyDelete
  49. What did they take away from my 401K match? That wasn't even discussed in our Tony dis-infomercial. Why did he come anyway? Theytake away the pension, "rely on your 401K" then they bugger that. And then they wonder why the North American Zone has a LOW response to their "CLIMATE SURVEY". Hey Brito, READ THIS, You and your DREAM ON people have ruined this AMERICAN ICONIC company. You raped it to pay your debts and Americans are starting to drink SAM ADAMS or other AMERICAN brewers. You have also raped its employees and retirees. It will come around and bite you and your smug group in the ass. So, DREAM ON, BRITO! Tony Bhalla are you looking for a real job? Where's the PASSION? Kind of a dull fast=spoken non-infomercial and no mention of the Boys From Brazil @#$%ing up my 401K, shame on you, a pox on your house.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I sent out an email on the We Are One Workers Rally. Workers across the entire country in every state will be ralling together at 4:30 on April 4th to support the Ameirican middle class.

Yes it is Monday April 4 at 4:30 pm corner of Union Avenue and Route 17K. I'll be on the Fridays corner. I would get there a little early if possible - should be something to be a part of.

The assault on American middle class rights is going on across the country. The people are standing up and fighting back against the politicians bought and paid for by the corporations who are signing away their rights.

There is also an overwhelming groundswell of support for the workers side from THE AMERICAN PUBLIC.

People who are starting to see it - we are all workers.

Unions care about people - corporations care about profits.

You are already a part of it! Come see it IN LIVING COLOR for yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  51. guess tony really fought hard this time in st louis, for our raise ! we got a big piece of pie this year, right people ? , his visit only cost us 1.5 %, holy shit, cant wait for his next visit, just get on your camel and stay away ! we the workers, cant afford anymore visits!!!! go IBEW, and the reps !!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Okay, so how did the folks who butter managements bread get kicked in the teeth this time? Any details on the changes? What's the changes to the 401K? Can they legally make these changes now that were Union?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Didnt run well today. Gee I hope it runs better tomorrow. Probably needs more tweeking.LolLOlLolLolLolLol.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Its a shame the plant was running so well. I hope our brothers at the breweries know whatse coming. Maybe they can tweek their plants too. Maybe the management staff can tweek their decisions too. After all we are all getting tweeked arent we. Nice tweeking Tony.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Not Happy mentioned they took away our 401k match. Is this true?

    ReplyDelete
  56. And how can they do that without going through the union?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Good morning all. In regard to the 401 match , it is my understanding that a company can change a match anytime, because it is something given not contracted.I may be mistaken , will research issue. We have seen again this week that management from tony on down are only pawns in BRITO'S game plan.Who would have thought this 5-10 years back. Now our salvation is 363 and SAM ,we will succeed. As we get closer to a viable contract things may get a little sticky.D crew my saying when your upset or feel pressured "BITE YOUR TONGUE" ,no good will come of you venting at this time.Let our reps , SAM and 363 get our contact and protect our way of LIFE. BE SAFE // BE GOOD TO EACH OTHER //BE UNION //BE 363 //BE RESPECTFUL OF EACH OTHER///P.S. RALLY MONDAY 4:30 [[IMPORTANT TO SHOW SUPPORT]] RESPECTFULLY DAKOTA

    ReplyDelete
  58. Feet in the water, ass in the sand, and a cold beer in my hand..........no worries.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Hang in there D crew, your new supervisor is on his way. He seems like a nice guy. Superman will get his when the time comes

    ReplyDelete
  60. He's already getting his when he has to answer to Howdy. He has no answers to anything because he has not a clue .He should really look in the mirror for his answers. He just pushes it off on the us. He think we're not qualified for jobs we've done for years before he got here.Someday, he'll understand when you piss off the CAN GODS your the that pays not the workers.Looking forward to our new supervisor change is good sometimes.Stay solid stay srong. Remember only 4 more rotations til freedom!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Dakota, I dont know about you but im not happy about the 401k.That is a reason ive devoted myself to this company. That was the last thing that showed this company even wanted to stay competetive in the market place. Our market share is starting to dwindle because of quality.Im sure that Im not the only one who is tired of working hard everyday, with a reduction in compensation everytime I turn around while the company enjoys riches earned off our sweat.I cant believe that this company doesnt want us to invest in the company. If they are not willing to invest in the company, why should I.Matching our contributions to our 401k was a significant bond between employee and employer that signaled to both sides how much we commit to eachother. Wake up company! Dont you think that this is going to be another demotivating factor in making our company the best beer company in a better world. Better for who? Brito?Tony? Kramer? They keep going up and we keep going down. I hope all the companies dont buy the bullshit that its for our own good. Its the only way you get older higher paid people to leave. And with it goes with experience. Time for all the ABINBEV employees to get together, can makers, breweries, transportation, all of us and stick together and say that these decisions are wrong. Whatta think? Time to join forces? I think so.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Hey Tweeky,
First off Tweeky I'm not happy either . We need to get all of us at Newburgh on the same page and support our Reps and 363. I don't quite see that yet. Sam has asked us to do that by appearing at this rally. I hope you are scheduled off that day so you can attend. Maybe if you go you can give us who have to work that day a report of the rally. As far as the brewery is concerned they've got their own problems coming up when their contract expires. This company doesn't want us for no other reason than to make them FAT PERIOD. It's not bout you and never will. All we can hope for is to protect what we have left and make our work enviroment the best it can be by supporting our union team. If the end result is not good enough then we all need to make a decision for us and our familys. My guess is not many people will decide to leave.

    ReplyDelete
  63. "If the end result is not good enough then we all need to make a decision for us and our familys. My guess is not many people will decide to leave."

The company already knows this. That is why they keep taking. All wind, no sail.

    ReplyDelete
  64. These guys dont need any wind. All they have to do is nickel and dime us. Next thing you know they have enough money to put in their pockets and buy a new motor sail around in.That's why we need to stand strong together. To show them we mean business.Hope to see you all at the rally on Monday.

    ReplyDelete
  65. They announced today that they were wrong again. The 401k will remain at 6% match and we will be recieving our 3% cost of living raise effective 4/1/11. They are also going to restructure our bonus to pay out at 14% with only 6 categories instead of 17. Health benefits will remain the same and be locked in for the next 4 years. Happy April Fools Day!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yo tweeky. I think we all need to show up at the rally on monday and show up at negotiations on tuesday and have our own rally at the hotel. Imagine a bunch of can makers in one place to support our reps and ourselves.HELL YEAH! Let me get a TWEEKY TWEEKY TWEEKY for Tony BHallaS tweeling of our 401K

  69. Are we meeting near Fridays on Monday about 4 p.m.?

    ReplyDelete
  70. 2:27 I think that all the managers leaving is an indicator that if they come up short. They will have people looking for jobs. Then we can let the rookies tell us how to make cans.

    ReplyDelete
  71. By the way, you maybe right. I might not leave but I sure wont give a shit if cans come out the other end.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I think that the brewery will be very interested in what we get. After all they are going to have to get their first Inbev contract soon too. As a matter of fact, thats a good idea.

    ReplyDelete
  73. The brewery guys got a five year contract just before the sale took place in 2008. They are good until 2013. They get a 3 percent raise every year and got 1000 dollar signing bonus. All this at a time when the economy was at its worst.

    ReplyDelete
  74. yeah, that was just old augie given away the store one last time to the American people that made AB great. Do you think Brito is going to be so generous? What kind of signing bonus are we going to get?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Its funny how in the commercials they still call it Anheuser Busch St. Louis Missouri. No mention of Inbev anywhere. The great belgian/Brazilian takeover an American company company.

    ReplyDelete
  76. What happened to world class? No wonder why this company is losing market share to other beer companies. They are pissing people off with the way they handle business. Britto--Do you expect the employees to continue to work hard every day when you are taking stuff away from us? 1 hand washes the other..Remember that--i will...

    ReplyDelete
  77. I agree with fed up.The future of this company in the United States is at a crossroad. All around the country on April the 4th average hard working Americans are going to rally for all American workers. Dr. Martin luther king was assassinated on that day supporting the right to collectively bargain for sanitation workers in Memphis. We have spent almost a year doing the thing that he died supporting. Collective bargaining. We are nearing the end of that bargaining. Lets show the country that we as a people who work with eachother, support eachother. Show if you can at the rally. Then show your support during the negotiations this week. Let the company know we are strong and united and we will be supported by the very people we support. The company can work with us to create a union plant that could be the best in the world, or just a sweatshop who throws away the dreams all of us had when we voted in this union. God bless all the workers in the U.S.God bless my union brothers and sisters everywhere. May our employer seek our wisdom and listen to our hearts and minds. May the spirit of Dr. King embrace us and the country to move us forward to make our country a place for our children to be grateful to call home.

  78. I've seen the IBEW lightApril 1, 2011 at 10:31 PM

Sam has been begging us to stick together and get behind him, 363 and our reps. Maybe it really is time we ALL got off our asses and did it. It should be obvious at this point that the union was on our side all along and the company was lying in every anyi union meeting we had. It is time to step the $%#@&^$% up. They are screwing us because they think we are still not sure who to believe. The 401k massacre of 2011 is enough for me to change gears and become militantly union. next time Sam calls a meeting that place should be jam packed or we desreve every bit of grief and slap in our faces we get.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Call a meeting Sam , you can count on me being there !

    ReplyDelete
  82. I will no longer give 100 percent to this company and when management wants information out of me they will cry to Brito that the work force is no longer cooperative. It time to point consumers towards employee friendly companies for their purchases and consumers should know what this company is now about. Salute to America Boys and Girls!! Salute!!!

  87. We heard rumors in Mira Loma that Tony was very disappointed with MCC Newburgh due to the Union and made comments about closing it down if things get worse. Any truth to that?

    ReplyDelete
  88. This sounds like a lame attempt to discourage you guys at Mira Loma from considering going to a union. Don't fall for any of Tony's tricks.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Close us down? We are a plant that produces and with no backing or leadership. Can you imagine what this plant could accomplish with a management team that was just that managers !!!!!!Fort Atkinson was just that remember Tony? it's not your work force Bhalla and you know it. We got you where you are today remember that !!!!!!!

  92. Come on home people. You'll never regret the decision to go union. The IBEW is a great union and you'll get more help than ever. Don't listen to any of the anti crap from management. Be polite-be strong and just listen to what they tell you. You'll see what I mean.

  96. Hey Brito Bandito, $1 and 2%? Remember that when you see the numbers the IBEW gets us. We will not accept that in a world class plant. Watch what the power of our team can do. This week will be very interesting for the rest of the world to watch. Tweek tweek

  97. We here at Mira Loma are not happy with that at all and it surely wasn't meant as a rub in your faces....quite the contrary...it was just passing along information that you may find helpful as your negotiations continue. We all are hoping that the IBEW can negotiate a much better deal for you than the scraps we (all) are getting now. Many of your other MCC hourly team members from other plants are watching and waiting in the wings.

  98. The rally was a huge success today. I cant believe so many people from all different unions. People were enthusiastic about supporting collective bargaining. Its great to see how much support for the average working person.

  102. Our People
    A Powerful Competitive Advantage
We know that it takes great people to build a great company. At Anheuser-Busch InBev, our people represent our most important competitive advantage. For this reason, we focus on attracting and retaining the best talent, enhancing their skills and potential through education and training, and fostering a culture of ownership that rewards our people for taking responsibility to produce outstanding results. Our goal is to be recognized as a “people builder” – meaning that we have the formalized systems and processes in place to produce the capable leaders we will need to sustain our growth going forward.

  103. Our financial results for 2010 showed very good progress in spite of the persistent challenging economic environment in several of our markets. Topline grew by 4.4%, EBITDA increased by 10.6%, we improved EBITDA margin by 209 bps and generated 9 905 million USD in cash flow from operating activities. This creates a solid platform for future growth.

Revenue rose 4.4% in FY10 and 5.9% in 4Q10, with revenue per hl up 2.3% in FY10 and 5.0% in 4Q10. On a constant geographic basis, i.e. eliminating the impact of faster growth in countries with lower revenue per hl, organic revenue growth per hl improved 3.6% in FY10 and 6.0% in 4Q10.

FY10 Focus Brand volumes grew 4.8% led by Skol, Brahma and Antarctica in Brazil, Harbin and Budweiser in China, and Budweiser in the United Kingdom. Global Budweiser volumes increased 1.7% in FY10. In 4Q10, Focus Brand volumes grew 4.8

  108. It's good to see folks still have the passion for Can Making. Thanks to those Can Makers who showed up a the rally yesterday at the intersections of 17K and 300. A good mix of crews and some folks even swapped to be there! Thanks for your sacrifice! Lots of American flags flying. Not a single Belgium or Brazilian flag to be seen. For the folks that didn't show up, some times you've got to go apple picking, and sometimes you've got to go shopping. Know this, now is the time to fight for your job, your pay, your benefits, and your retirement. We don't need a little "Go REPS" post here, get involved, lets start seeing you folks where it matters!!

    Wondering ......
    Thought you should know.
Sat at the negotiations table today.
    Today we saw positive results.
    Good work Sam & Steve!
Good work Reps, good seeing you folks!
Good work Mike! Always a pleasure Sir.
Eric, sorry about your friend, our thoughts are with you.
Each time we meet, there's more progress.
    A good day today.

Like "Ol Yella" said, every MCC employee needs to get involved.

The Union is not Sam, it's not Steve, it's not your Shop Stewards, it's not the Negotiators. The folks working so hard that are listed above are not the Union. YOU, the workers at MCC Newburgh, are the Union. It time to hear, see, and feel you. YOU are the power of the union, the gas in the tank, your participation drives the contract.

Time to stand folks, time to be heard, time to be seen.

Time to put this contract to bed and move ahead!

Thanks Sam and Steve for your hard work.
