We are scheduling a General meeting for all of the crews ( on two different days) so all of the people can get a chance to talk and ask questions. We will be discussing issues that are on your mind and ours. We will also be answering your concerns and questions about bargaining. Your Reps have worked very hard and they have much more work to do. Come together with us on these days as we prepare to move forward united as one for the good of all!
The meetings will be held at the IBEW Local 363 Building in Harriman:
Monday October 25 A - B Crew 10 AM
Friday October 29 C-D - M Crew 10 AM

alright it is great to see that we as a collective group have gotten far enough in our contract to have a meeting with everyone.
ReplyDeleteI have been waiting patiently for this i know it is a long process.
so i just wanted to thank all that were involved to get us to this point. i could only imagine what it is like to spend your days off in an office talking away about things that probably a few or more will do nothing but complain about.
BUT KNOW THIS THE MAJORITY WILL REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORTS.
OTHER THEN MY BACKING AND SUPPORT I CANNOT THANK YOU GUYS AND GALS FROM IBEW CREW AND THE NEW 363 TEAM OF NEWBURGH ENOUGH.

Yea, can't wait until we get 10 minute breaks and 20 minute lunches!!!! I'll have to get on the maintence crew. That way I can hide out in their inner office and take my hour breaks like they do now!!!

Hey 10/20/3:24AM I guess Dr. Phil has said a lot of what you needed to hear. Don't be such a downer.Did you participate in the process? Have you approached your reps with your concerns or ideas to improve the situation? Have you realized yet that you can make the most of this for yourself? Go ahead, be whatever you want to be just not counter productive. I'm quite sure the person who responded after your blog (9:57am) was being sarcastic to your statement. And don't single out the maintenance crew. I've been there. If you want "hide out in the maintenance shop" go ahead. While your there, do what they do, the day after maintenance day start planning the next maintenance. Start fixing what was ripped out of the maintenance line equipment. Review what equipment can be serviced on the run and schedule it around production needs. Get my drift? Try to smile and have a great day, OK? It's all for you too! And We are all for you, too! The group meetings are posted, find your voice there. I'm sure there will be a lot more listening there than you would be led to believe. Once again, think positive. Smile.
