Worth Repeating - IBEW Local 363 - We Are On Your Side

There is a movement building at the can plant. That movement is for the BENEFIT OF THE WORKING PEOPLE. The handwriting is on the wall in regard to what the company plans are for us there. They do not have the workers interests in mind at all.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

THE PEOPLE HAVE DECIDED TO FORM A UNION TO PROTECT THEMSELVES. The people are banding together to speak as one voice. THE PEOPLE WANT to sit at the table - with management - and work out a FAIR and WRITTEN contract.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

The comments and misleading statements by our management have already started in an attempt to intimidate and scare the people to stop the movement to organize.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

BUT THEY CANNOT STOP IT! The people know what they need to protect themselves and their families. THEY NEED A CONTRACT. A WRITTEN CONTRACT.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

Why does the company fear that so much? The answer is because without that contract they can take away EVERYTHING the workers have - and the workers have no right to even question it.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

Take any of the "advice" in regard to forming a union from the management crew who are being paid to keep you weak and separate and toss that "advice" right in the trash. It is always scripted, forced, twisted and designed to make you work against yourself and your co-workers.

THE WORKERS ARE MUCH SMARTER THAN MANAGEMENT THINKS.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

I believe a majority of the workers have made that decision already.....get ready to become part of IBEW Local 363!

  1. im so excited, this is really going to stick this time!Is there any way you can tell us what the steps are to get the union here? what step where on?and about how long before 363 starts bargaining
on our behalf? And last of all about how much
longer before we start seeing the new staffing

  3. Does everybody see how management is reacting to the FACT that 363 is going to represent us? Lots of concern NOW on how we feel huh. Funny how they havent offered to change positively, one thing, not one to thing that they have implemented since they gave you NOTHING towards our raise, pension, medical. They had to hold management hostage in Belgium to get them to negotiate not to cut jobs. The U.S. is the biggest money maker for Borrito. Newburgh makes millions for the bottom line, which the top execs get very very large bonuses and salaries, and stock options. Look at what Borrito has gotten for bonuses and look at what Newburgh has netted for profits for ABINBEV. pretty close huh. Who made those profits. We did. And what did we get for it. NOTHING. Borrito gets tens of millions of what Newburgh made as profit and we cant even get a 1% raise. Well now he is going to have to deal with us. GO UNION!

  6. Tony, because you're reading this, and you want a straight up answer on what managers need to go, here's my list...

    Dan K
    Dan L
    Dave L
    Warren

Now that Dale gets his medication everyday, he's ok. We may need to up the dose during this period of changing times. We don't need a loose cannon around the plant looking for its next target.

Everyone feel free to vent on who you would like to see get the axe. You may feel better knowing others feel the same way and in the meantime get something off your chest.

Maybe, by some chance, we can keep everyone. All managers must eat one serving of "humble pie" twice daily followed by a shot/dose of "treat me/us with some F!@*ING respect."

  8. I for one don't want to see anyone lose there
Jobs. Not any hourlys or salary people. I
Wouldn't want anyone wishing bad for me,
And I don't wish anything bad for anyone else.
I do, however, want local 363 for us. I want
A union that can help us to be treated equally
    And fairly.
