  2. How the hell do you justify 298,000.what kind of bonus does he get? What stock options?Oh my god how can he look at people in the eye? Over a quarter million dollars, and we cant get an increase. This guy sits in his air conditioned office all day. While we sweat our asses off.His pompous attitude until the union drive started could care less about us .If you guys on the fence dont mind the fact he earns $143.00 PER HOUR, plus perks, than you get what you deserve.Wake up fence sitters we deserve better treatment than what we get.WE need a commitment. We need this to be a team again.we need a union now.

I'm not toosure about that salary band but it maybe right. But, i can tell you that at least we got SOMETHING last Dec. in our first contract under The Great AB-InBev!
We heard they really screwed you guys good !
I've been here 35 years ....since the start and this is as bad as I have ever seen it !
But there is no doubt in my mind it;s just going to get worse. Brito wants us all working for South American wages ao he can pay down all that money he borrowed and get his HUGE Bonus(we've heard $200 million for him and the top leaders)
Wouldn't you screw over every employee you had for that kind of money ?

Dan (who used to work here in Jax) and Tony Bulla who cons everyone everywhere he goes are just trying to get their share.

Tony is a much smoother talker than Dan ever was !

Yeah we got stuck with that crappy 3% Gainshare
too ....but at least we got a 1 % GUARANTEED raise and a signing bonus !

I make more on a single day of overtime than that joke of a gainshare !!

We're lucky ...they haven't raised our budget yet so we've made our whopping 3% twice now !
But we already know that ain't going to last !

Good Luck Newburgh ! Our Steelworkers Union ain't the best in the world but it's going to beat the hell out of Brito and his 40 thieves !

We've gone on strike twice in 35 yrs. and managed to survive both of them. Just don't let them con you AGAIN like they did in '94 !!

They have a lot of money riding on your vote !!

  7. Wow you have got to be kidding I will vote yes even if it hurts........I don't like unions only because I did'nt think it was in our best interest. I guess this is the only way for us.

  8. This election is going to end up being like Lebron James dunking on a Lytle tykes basketball hoop.

    Dan the 298,000 wonder.

  9. Hi Team I guess we know what we have to do vote
yes!!! stay solid team don't listen to any of that bull shit.....We don't need a repeat of 1994

Im done with you Dan. You too Tony.

wow im getting in this late tonight, was kind of busy today but just finished reading the blogs and all the fun stuff about Dan's salary. We see that Dan must have some sort of contract with corporate to get this kind of money yet he wants to fight us about us wanting to get a contract to better ourselves and to help our families. Way to go Sam for bringing some light to the people about this. Well things get better just before the negotiator gets here, Maybe they should skip him and go right on to the bigger guys. Well all you fence sitters should start leaning the way of the people so we can get something down on paper before it gets to late and they take as much away as they can and we will be working for foreign wages. Everyone stay strong and man if i were making Dans money i would be driving a Ferrari Testarosa to work. Hey Dan where do you park yours? lol lol well everyone digest this and go UNION.....

    ReplyDelete
  14. This isn't Dan's job, this is for a crew superintendent, they dont make that kind of money. I can see where you are going but your facts are wrong this time Sam.

  15. Check this out

    http://www.alternet.org/economy/63438/union-busting_confidential/?page=2

I wonder if our union busting consultant is from the law firm of Jackson Lewis, one of the leading law firms in the field of union-busting.

If you really want to see how effectively MCC managers have been trained. Read this article.

It starts with "always act respectful of the union and the people's right to choose". Damn, Dan I really thought you meant that when you said it.

You almost had me fooled. Gee Whiz - I'm just a stupid hourly. Good thing I know how to use this computer thing.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I think its time we go on to the company site
pull jacksonville and arnold's contract and
start construction ours. after i seen what dan
makes and all this crying poverty the company
is telling us..i do not think i would be happy
just keeping what we have.Lets take a look at
what jacksonville and arnold get wages and benefits figure out there cost of living put a percentage between the difference and that is
close to the percentage we should be going for
i really think we should we should start working on our contract or even ideas for our contract! We know we won this by a landslide!

    ReplyDelete
  17. SADISTIC - I already have started that. Call the union hall 845-783-3500 and ask for my numbers and call me when you can. We can talk about it more.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Lets all consider that 1000 bucks as the sign on bonus. And the 3 percent. maybe a few sick days.have it in writing when it is a state of emergency you do not have to worry about ditching your car or truck to get to work! do you think the company will pay for your ticket or deductible? all that is said is use your better judgment, and if you decide if its to unsafe then you can possibly end up with an occurrence. What about a hotel in unsafe conditions they dont even care if you get home alright! they just care if you get there!
