Worth Repeating - IBEW Local 363- We Are on Your Side - Play It And Sing Along!

THERE IS A UNION MOVEMENT THAT HAS BEEN BUILT BY THE PEOPLE AT THE NEWBURGH CAN PLANT. That movement is for the BENEFIT OF ALL OF THE WORKING PEOPLE AT MCC. The handwriting is on the wall in regard to what the company plans are for us there. They do not have the workers interests in mind at all.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

THE PEOPLE HAVE CALLED IN IBEW LOCAL 363 AND HAVE DECIDED TO FORM A UNION TO PROTECT THEMSELVES. The people are banding together to speak as one voice. THE PEOPLE WANT to sit at the table - with management - and work out a FAIR and WRITTEN contract.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

The comments and misleading statements by our management HAPPEN EVERYDAY in an attempt to intimidate and scare the people to stop the movement to organize. The people are tuning out the corporate dog and pony show that is designed to keep the US ALL weak and powerless. We are too smart for that NOW!

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

AND THEY CANNOT STOP IT NOW! IT IS TOO LATE FOR THAT! The people know what they need to protect themselves and their families. THEY NEED A CONTRACT. A WRITTEN CONTRACT.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

Why does the company fear that so much? The answer is because without that contract they can take away EVERYTHING the workers have - and the workers have no right to even question it.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

Take any of the "advice" in regard to forming a union from Dan, Dave, Warren, Tony, and even Negotiator Ken, who are ALL being paid to keep you weak and separate and toss " their advice" right in the trash. It is always SCRIPTED, forced, twisted and designed to make you work against yourself and your co-workers.

THE WORKERS ARE MUCH SMARTER THAN MANAGEMENT THINKS.

WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

VOTE YES FOR IBEW LOCAL 363 ON AUGUST 27 AND AUGUST 28.

STAY STRONG, STAY SOLID, LISTEN AND BE POLITE, TELL THEM EVERYTHING THEY WANT TO HEAR AND THEN JUST VOTE FOR IBEW LOCAL 363

***** After August 27 / 28 YOU will no longer NEED TO FEAR EXPRESSING YOUR OPINIONS ABOUT YOUR JOB OR YOUR JOB CONDITIONS AGAIN!

You WILL ALL BE REPRESENTED BY IBEW LOCAL 363!

The entire plant with the exception of the few who are afraid to be freed are on our side. The workers side. The Union side. Sams side. My families side. My futures side. The side of choice. The side of voice. The side of having rights. The side of fair. The side of a contract.

We are on the side of our union - IBEW Lcal 363

  4. Now that everybody has vented for a while. I hope you feel a bit better, i know i do! But time is getting close to the Election and its time to remember that the changes you see around the plant are temporary and it will not last! it will go back to the way it was in time and even worse with this new company.. if you decide to vote no!Its time to remember why you came here to vent! Thanks again for listening Sam!I know some are still on the wall and that is understandable, change is a scary thing and
its something we must all adapt to. But truly
weigh it out. Do you think management is going to stay this way after the election? Do you really think they are going to be your buds?Do
you really think your going to have at least
what you have right now or even a little more
in a few years?Do you think Britto cares about
you or your family? Now that you vented for a while... and believe me it sure felt good, its
time to suck it all back in again and remember.
keep it close to your heart. And remember they
had more than enough chances. I think its as somebody said we needed that marriage counselor
a long time ago, now that there set in there ways we need somebody to train the dog!Its time
to care about yourselves put yourselves and your
family first instead of the company.Do you really think they put you or your family first, Second or even third? Its time to remember everybody its time to remember!

  7. Hey you managers got yours, now don't get in the way of us getting ours. Looks like they are advertising your jobs out there so don't try screwing it up for us just before they "can" you. I'm talking to you Dan.

Were going with 363 whether you uys like it or not and that includes you twice Tony.

When you come you'll see. I hope Tony is here on the 28th when we count our votes so I can see all your phoney faces.

  8. Dan you are a great actor. I thought you were telling us all of those things about local 363.
You were just reading your premade lines.

    • Unions cannot guarantee anything.

    • The union is a third party that interferes in the employment relationship.

    • Unions need your money to survive.

YOu said those same exact things! It wasn't about the IBEW or 363 at all. It was about nothing. It was about some stupid company script but made to seem like it was really about local 363.

    Thats it Dan, thats it.

  9. Remember, the best thing for us is a contract, that is what we need to keep in focus. Why should we vote no? What do we really have if we vote no? We will lose flexibility if we vote yes to the union? What flexibility is that? Do they mean the flexibility to change the rules when ever it suits them? That is all the company seems to be offering us.

I want to see what bullshit Dan tries to sell us all next in our captive meetings. Poor Negotiator Ken, he is already beat and he didn't even get here yet!

I am so proud to become IBEW and Local 363!

This is just what we need with our "new company".

  11. cant wait for todays captive meetings. Cant wait for the droning machine to start reading from the script.if this has been abinbevs best efforts so far they really really ought to think of a different line of work.when im not talking today ,I will be fantasizing about drinking the koolaid.it will be more interesting than listing to Dan.

  13. Someone once told me that we need to have passion for the work we do.
    We do.
We need to work hard for the thing we want in life.
    We do.
We need to be kind to others and others will be kind to you.
There is a purpose for everything in life, and now we want that purpose with a contract.
We want stability and consistency at work.
We want everyone treated the same, not different because management likes them.
We want to be treated with dignity and respect.
This is America and we want to unite for the benefit of our families and this plant.
At MCC Newburgh we can’t see that environment anymore. We the blue collar workers need a change.
The only thing we see is poor managerial decisions at our facility. We see the lack of caring and support we used to have here. We see the part of the managers that is not nice. When machines break down, they blame us for their inability to do their job as managers. There isn’t any communication between the workers and management anymore. We try to discuss things with management and it goes in one ear and out the other.
It is a big waste of time anymore to even try to talk to management.
We have all heard that expression “We need the accept change” and “Change is good”.
Well now is the time for the managers to accept change, because change is good for us this time.
We the workers of this plant need to unite and become one.
We need to stop the management team for belittling us and treating us like children.
The people of MCC need to stand strong and continue to stay solid, because change is coming and together as a new unified force we will get thru anything.
So next time when management treats you bad, look towards the light at the end of the tunnel, the IBEW will be there to assist you with your problems with management.
Vote Yes August 27th and 28th and become the elite Force of IBEW #363 Newburgh Can Plant.
Thank you for your support my fellow blue collar workers.

  15. Right on Passion! Remember everybody Remember!
Passion.. your words of truths and where we go
from here are music to my ears, not a calm before the storm but the ending of the storm! To have us the people (363) bargain for ourselves. To have worker rights! And to have a voice and be heard! To hold our heads up high at work and at home. To have respect at the workplace! And with 363 and all of us united, we can have this! We got to remember:

Management always asked for that second chance to make things right. They had dozens of chances!

Policies always changing to fit there own
    needs!

Management taunting its employees (Warren and
    his magic shoes)

Managements commitment to fair treatment policy
Well remember how Chad Hadlick won his level 1
and also his level 2.He was still fired !! How
    fair does that sound?

As i recall we had a one time payment for benefits 15 years ago for 1500.00. Wait hold
on 1500 and 15 years ago? What did we get this
time! How hard did you bargain for us Dan!

THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS: THAT I BELIEVE THAT WE WOULD DO BETTER BARGAINING FOR OURSELVES WITH THE UNION 363! FOLLOWING OUR OWN SYSTEM OF FAIR TREATMENT. HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR OURSELVES!

VOTE YES! VOTE YES! VOTE YES! VOTE YES!

  16. Passion: I could not have said it better myself. We want to be treated fairly and with respect. We have not had that since Dan took over in the corner office. He thinks it is all about him. Well, not any more Dan. Get used to change--because it is coming--like a freight train. Tooooot---Toooooot....

WE PROBABLY WOULDN'T BE HERE STILL. instead of asking WHY? WHY ARE WE AT THIS JUNCTURE, NO. WE WILL SPEND ALL OUR TIME EFFORT ON TRYING TO FIGURING OUT WHO? AND HOW? WHO STARTED THIS AND HOW CAN WE MAKE IBEW LOOK BAD?
WELL LOOKS LIKE WERE BACK TO 3 AGAIN. WHO,HOW AND OF COURSE THE WHY? IF THE NEWBURGH MANAGERS STOPPED PRETENDING THEY DON'T KNOW WHY! INSTEAD OF THROWING IT BACK AT US AND SAYING ( UHH I DON'T KNOW WHY ARE WE HERE?)

TRY TO REMEMBER WHEN THIS IS OVER, RESPECT IS EARNED DAN, NOT JUST GIVEN BECAUSE OF YOUR TITLE LIKE YOU PERCEIVE IT TO BE. ABOUT THE MANY TEAM MEMBERS YOU CLAIM ARE COMING UP TO YOU, MORE LIES? DAN, IF THAT WAS TRUE YOU WOULD NOT NEED TO SPEND YOUR PRECIOUS TIME WRITING THESE SILLY LETTERS. UMM DAN. THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO UMM DANIEL. ALSO DO NOT FORGET YOUR TOTAL LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM DURING THE GREAT AMERICAN M.C.C. STEAKOUT AS WELL.THAT BEHAVIOR PROVES AGAIN THAT YOU ARE A LIAR AND NOT TRUE TO YOUR WORDS. THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO UMM DANIEL!

  18. Well my fellow team members we're coming up on our election day. So I wanted to take this time refresh your memories or enlighten some who haven't heard this story. I got the extreme pleasure to attend another crews "break" meeting with Warren. The conversation was this:

Warren: ".....So the cafeteria will be closed outside of the break schedule".

Team member: "Will we be able to come to the cafeteria after we do a line sweep in 125 degree tempatures to cool down and have some Gatorade?

Warren: "Oh, thats right....there's no Gatorade on the floor.....Well there's water fountains on the floor!!!! No more safety breaks!!!"

This is the Gods honest truth. If some of you haven't heard it, ask around. The people that attended that meeting knows what was said.

The time has come to be treated with dignity and respect. And that will only come with IBEW. It's obvious Warren and some other managers have absolutely no compassion for the workers on the floor. Oh, unless the word union is mentioned. How many meetings have we gone to, to be asked "why is moral down". Only to have nothing accomplished from those meetings. The years have gone by where management didn't care how we felt or wanted our input. But oh wait....there's going to be an election. Now they want to talk!!! It's way to late. Nothing is left to be said now.
August 27th and 28th vote YES to IBEW Local 363 and it will be our time to have some dignity.
It will be our time to have some respect.
It will be our time to have say in our futures.
It will be our time to be treated as human beings.
It will be our time to do the "Carrot Top Waltz" in the cafeteria!!!!

    THIS BUD AIN'T FOR ME!!!!!
