IBEW Local 363. That is the really great part. Your contract is YOUR contract and you guys are "the union" in the purest sense of the word. Yes, your IBEW representatives will do the negotiating and grievances and bargaining etc, but the YOUR PART OF THE UNION is YOURS.

I think it is worth trying to convince the VERY FEW LEFT are on that "fence" to jump off and join the rest of you on the side FOR the people and AGAINST no one.
Please realize there are some people who you can never convince - there is fear in some mens hearts -- and just recognize that and leave them alone to be.

ReplyDeleteThis is for the people who should be with us who were unjustly ground up and spit out by THE MACHINE. We are about to exact some justice for you too. It doesn't change your situation but may give you some satisfaction that they are about to taste the same bitter pill they inflicted on you. REJECTION! When we vote we are remembering all of you who have been screwed out of your job for the dumbest of reasons. We know we can't do anything after the fact for you but we can damn sure know we can prevent them from doing it to others.

ReplyDeleteWhen the company showed us the income of union plants was 26.5% lower than non union plants, why didnt they show total hrs worked? My question is does non union plants work more overtime than union plants. That would explain the million dollar question that tony dave and dan could not answer. If you are someone who is worried about how much money you could lose ask Dan to show you the information per plant on what the overtime totals are for union versus nonunion. That should help.

ReplyDeleteHey iamaunionman, Tony just told you he gave the union plants the raises and nothing to us so they can catch up. Even though he says MCC has never gone 2 years without some kind of raise don't count on it. Never say never. No union means they can push us around and we have no recourse, no rights, remember this is NY state, not a "right to work" state. Organizing into a union changes that equation, levels the playing field a little more. We have to stop them from bleeding us dry. Remember to vote yes next week.
I cant wait for the 27th and 28th.I am careful for what I ask for Tony.I asked the company for a raise, an increase in my pension,job security and a commitment on paper. Thats what we are asking for. You have it why cant we? did you make more this year? How can you sit there and tell us in one breath a unuion is bad and then in the next breath say you dont care if a union comes in , that your used to unions and it wouldnt bother you.?
