50,000 hits!!!!! Hold on tight guys here we goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
ReplyDeleteROLLING LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN......HANG ON TIGHT....
ReplyDelete3:36 That was very well said I hope this is a landslide we have worked hard on this.
ReplyDeleteVote yes my brothers & sisters !!!
In Dan's after break meetings today, he spoke of our company track record.
ReplyDeleteYes we have had a great track record.
But this track record was built between us, back when MCC was still an US, and Anheuser-Busch.
Let's take a look at the company's one year track record with "US" now.
No employee appreciation activities.
No wage increase
Some Salaried workers lost Gainshare
All Salaried workers pension freezes in 2012.
All Salaried workers have to accrue their vacation time.
Increases in healthcare costs and less quality in the programs we are paying more for.
Increase in the cost of the 401K plan, less quality of the service provider. And no one even asked us for suggestions.
Mismanagement in the people department. To be fair to Inbev, we have never had a professional human resource department. So, that really wasn't a good track record with AB either.
Unfair treatment
Unable to fill Superintendant slots.
Unable to fill FE trainer position.
Lack of follow up to Team Member concerns.
Blaming productivity loss on one hour breaks.
Slow computer systems.
Printer paper rationed.
Parts and project ordering slowed because Corp. finance will not release funds.
I could go on but I am tired of typing and you are probably tired of reading what you already know.
Tony's promise to close the gap between non-union and union plant benefits is a promise to lower our benefits whether we are union or not.
If you think Dan's promise to improve our relationship is going to happen without a union, I can tell you from firsthand experience that it won't. These are the same promises Tony made when he was the plant manager and we had an election in 1994.
If the union does not get in, the managers will make a great effort to improve Newburgh's working environment, but like everything else, it will lose momentum over time. There will be the usual great ideas followed by no follow through, followed by time forgotten, followed by more ignored employee dissatisfaction.
22 years has proven that the only way to make positive change is to have a contract.
Put your X in the YES Box.
I say my friends we will rob from the rich and give to the poor. What a rush my union friends and brothers and sisters in arms lol. We will take our piece of history yes we will. Hmmmm I wonder how tony made out today. I hear dan and dave did the lunch room tour lol. Lets hear some comments on how today went. GO UNION STRONG..........
ReplyDeleteSHARIF DON'T LIKE IT... ROCK THE CASBAH, ROCK THE CASBAH.
ReplyDeleteAnd Rock we will! I'm sure there was more disinformation today, "Wow, look at this data, children, you are making a big mistake." "But vote, vote wisely". OK I will.
Did Tony come to win hearts and minds or exact his lump of flesh?, we'll see. Probably after Saturday night.
"What the people need is a way to make them smile", Listen to the Music, the Doobie Brothers.
"Doobie Brothers", should we send them for a "random" hair test days before they make "the most important voting decision of their professional lives?" Suspected union collaborators no doubt. If that's what it takes to win hearts and minds can I go next? Now not only can't they shoot a gun without amputating a toe, they create martyrs. And some of the martyrs have stated that the latest little trick has changed their no to yes. Great shootin' there Deadeye! I know we always randomly drug test. It's just your timing and your choices of discipline and testing seem to be more perception motivated than based in reality. Paranoia? A not so subtle hint of things to come? "If they want a union they must be on drugs!" Quite the opposite.
2... count 'em 2 more days to vote.
Then we will "Rock You Like A Hurricane"
great job 8:16 dont worry. I believe in the employees. I believe in American workers.I believe in the Newburgh American workers. I believe we have won this already.you have done a good job pointing out the track record. Everything you said is true and is a undeniable fact. This will be a win for the people of the plant ,the people of local 363.
ReplyDeleteTough day huh Tony. you know its over. Give it your best shot. You can only blame yourself for keeping the management staff at Newburgh. They have let us all down.Your arrogance has made you make the wrong decisions.Your friendship with Dave Lehman has blinded you to the fact that the man is an incapable manager. Thats why you moved him from Georgia. He has had the same effect here. do a anonymous survey you will see the people dont trust him, or believe he can help the humans in the plant, he is not a human resource for us, only for You and Dan.
ReplyDeletei'm voting YES only because of INBEVS record and WE all know what that is
ReplyDeleteDave Lehman,
ReplyDeleteIt seems like too many of these posts are aimed towards you. What do you plan on doing about it? During the survey meeting we had not long ago--you slid the results under the projector for about 2 seconds then that was it. We all know the results were not too good. The mgt. team got Hammered. Not many changes since then..
8:16 great posting you hit the nail on the head.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for this to be over it will be a
pleasure to work with you Sam.
